Although I had CHM205 27 years ago, took it twice to get a B and never did graduate - Dr Kallen is the best teacher I ever had, period. Awesome lab, good class, challenging test that you cannot get 100% on. Good times studying all night. Felt like an achievement.

Incredibly hard Quiz everyday. He reads off of his powerpoints. I dropped 2 weeks before finals because it is incredibly hard to just get a d in the class. Only 1 person had an 1. he has a 40% drop rate. And thats after the first week where your allowed to drop.

Yes, Dr. Kallen's class is extremely challenging, but that should only bother you if you're a slacker. What are you in college for if not to have your brain stretched? I had to work for my A for once, which is one of the reasons this class was my favorite freshman year.

I was excited to take this class until I met Kallen. He's one of those people who thinks that you should just KNOW what he's telling you. He beats his examples to death and he just reads his powerpoints. He's monotone and I DREADED going to this class.

If you are suicidal, do not take this class. Not even kidding. Most boring class ever. VERY intensive on chemistry. Will not accept health center excuses- says you should be in class instead of making sure you aren't dying.5 page research paper: "Your paper would sound better if you actually did research and did not copy and paste from the book."

This professor's main goal in teaching this class is to make it known that he is a god and all of his students do not know as much as he does. He tries to trick you on the tests and his lectures teach you absolutely nothing except how to sleep! If you spell a word wrong it is wrong! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! I have to spend countless hours studying!

Taking this class with Kallen is not fun. It is way too difficult for a gen ed. You have to start studying a week before the test if you want to get a decent grade. Not an interesting subject, like you might expect. Very chemistry and physics intensive.

If you like spending your afternoons being lectured to sleep, this class is deffinately for you! Well actually, the guy lectures to the black board the entire time. This is NOT A FORENSICS CLASS!!! It is just chemistry and metric system number crunching. The reading from the textbook has nothing to do with what we are taught in class. Do not take!!

Ok, this course is very hard.If you did not take chemistry in high school, you will get a low mark.This class is geared towards chemistry majors.Kallen is smart but teaches the course in a monatone voice.It is very hard to stay awake.This guy loves to see people fail and loves to make every person freaking struggle.DON"T TAKE!!!!!

Forensic science was a challenging but fair class. There is a bonus point quiz everyday which can only help you and drives you to study for the class everyday. The bonus points go towards the test and are a major help. If you go to him and ask him questions, he is extremely helpful and friendly. There is one 4-5 page paper, but it's not too bad

For all you nerds out there who go on saying "oh his classes are simply MARVELOUS..what a brilliant man!" you guys need to get a life and stop doing chemistry for 20 hours out of every damn day. If you're looking for any easy class, keep on walkin cuz Kallen is the devil himself.
