Comment:

Anyone interested in literature should appreciate Professor Loe. His material is interesting, he grades fairly, and he will improve your writing. His classes require effort. If you put it in, you will find your grade reflects that. I rank him as one of the best professors I ever had.

Seriously never ever take 102 with this guy. you will only be writing contradictory essays based on arguments. 5 papers all about effectiveness of one to get its argument across in the paper and you must expand upon it. Hes an unfair grader and plays favorites with certain students. AAWFUL TEACHER DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS EVER!!!!!

Oh my lord! This man is the most horrible professor I've ever had. Boring class, unclear insturctions, he does not explain anything fully. He favors the grad students in my class. I went to him for help and he didnt give me any. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS MAN!!!!

I was in a class with both undergrads and grad students, and being an undergrad, that made me very nervous. He loved the grad students and was not very helpful to anyone else. We wrote a paper/week and had a 15 pager due at the end. I got a B in the class, which was ok, but he could have done more actual teaching. I didn't really learn anything.

Prof. Loe was a fair grader, and was actually able to keep me interested during a morning class. The writing wasn't easy, but it improved my writing for this class and many other classes as well. I would recommend this teacher to anyone who wanted to imrpove their writing skills.

I love to write, but the writing for this class was useless. No one ever understood what to write on the essays and I would spend days working on papers and get a C everytime. The majority of the class got this grade. Hes a nice enough guy, just a hard grader.

Professor Loe is certainly of low quality. He is unclear and quite boring to be honest. He does not give reasons as to why answers are right or wrong. He simply responds to potential answers as "No, probably not." or "That's right." I do not recommend him at all. DO NOT TAKE A COURSE WITH THIS MAN.

Prof Loe was a theory machine. He understood narratology well and introduced terms and concepts that I know are going to be valuable in future classes. A hard grader but is very willing to help clarify papers. Easy to talk to and get along with...A+ in my book

For a gen ed class he makes it out to be impossible to pass! F-him! You have been warned. GO ahead and take a class with him....YOU WILL BE SORRY I PROMISE
