This' my second term with Looser as a prof, and I intend on taking more classes taught by him. I find I can always follow his lectures (even if they're unclear at first, he clarifies himself with repeat attempts) and his grading is fantastic!

Yes, he does rant and go off in his world of endless knowledge. It's a bit hard to follow, but it's fascinating nonetheless - he'll get you to think differently about anime, that's for sure. He is truly a wise man, and very helpful outside of class.

Somehow he's managed to drain the life out of cartoons. I was afraid that this might happen at McGill and it was worse than expected. The last unit of the course is absolute garbage and he flings it at the students like a zoo monkey.

He's a scatter brain but he's very well read on his subject and entertaining. He means well by his students and does a good job. Reading can be a bit heavy but very interesting. A good class!
