Excellent professor. Very engaging and interestiing. Makes it easier to endure the other angry, critical students. I came to get and education not just have someone lecture and not be excited about the subject matter. Dr. Matta rules!!!

I've had several classes with Dr. Matta. He is personable and caring. Very approachable. Not a pushover though, he says don't con him and means it. He is passionate about subject matter, and concerned about students. Participate in class!

Nice guy. Lots of fun stories that clarify his points. Missed a few classes but had videos shown to us. 4 papers but easy grader. 1 presentation. 3 tests and he throws out the lowest grade so technically you do not have to take the final if you don't want to. yet he makes you buy and read his thesis?

MY FAVORITE PROF. OF ALL TIME!! I AM NOT EVEN IN THE MAJOR, and HE IS BETTER THAN ANY PROF. I EVER HAD. There is alot of information to cover in both classes. Reading and remembering what is in the book is essential. Highly INTERESTING THOUGH. GOOD GUY, VERY ENTHUSIASTIC!!
