I've learned everything i know from the textbook and next to nothing from cam. He talks all class and then assigns work that is completely irrelevant to what he has been talking about. His tests are unrealistic and poorly put together, almost as if he made them the night before. Save the money on the course, just buy & complete the textbooks.

ok!4 the new kids comin 2 Cap U. Cam will scare u. i swear i thought i wz going 2 fail his class but ended up getting a B-. He's an ass but he's also a nice guy. One on one he is helpful. just do all the assignments and u will pass. you might fail his quizzes, not becasue u didnt study but because u will ahve no idea what the hell the answers are.

Post Production is a difficult class to teach, and I do admit that Cam doesn't make it very easy for beginners. BUT he is incredibly helpful when teaching one-on-one, or if you stay after class. I find that if I don't understand something he's very willing to go over it - multiple times if needed. Also he has a pet rabbit, which is cute.

Cam Williams... hmmmmmmm... This guy isn't a very great teacher but he is a nice guy. He seems like he's trying but he really needs to work on his teaching skills. Cancelled about 4 classes this year and didn't have make ups. Kind of sucked I wish I could learn FCP better but I guess I'll have to learn on my own.

Cam is a confusing teacher at best. At worst he is petty, ignorant, ill-prepared, and unknowledgable. He cancelled an average of 3 classes per term, with no make-up classes even mentioned. The fact that he has held his tenure is astounding; any decent school would have fired him by now.

I thought that I was well prepared for his first quiz, and I ended up failing. It's not that I don't understand the content, its just his sentences don't make sense. I am 9 classes in and he has cut us short like 3 hours cuz he wants to leave early. He is so monotone and section THR33 rocks!

Cam Williams is one the film program's achilles heels. His teaching style is extremely dull and hard to follow while the subject matter is offen irrelent unless you absolutely want to work in post-production. He is a teacher who is frustrating to work with, and he often does not show up for his classes. He is a teacher who will put up barriers f

Cam Williams is the most confusing teacher I have ever had. Period. He is infuriatingly stubborn, arrogant, and convinced of his of intelligence. He will even smile as you explain your problem, before he shuts you down completely. He is a relic from the OLD Capilano, before Bill Thumm, and should be fired ASAP. Ability before tenure!

Cam is extremely fair and helpful. There is a lot of material to cover in the course, but he does not expect you to master it. If you complete the assignments and do even ok on the exams, you should pass the course. Was by far my favorite class.

Cam is the worst teatcher I have ever had. He speaks in monotone and gives confusing notes. His instructions for assignments are so unclear that many students have to come back to ask him a few times before making it "clear" (and to make it worst, he gets mad about it). Very unhelpful teacher--will only kill your GPA if you're not "careful".

SO unimpressed with this teacher. His lessons are 2-3 hours of lecture, and he is unclear at best and utterly CONFUSING and infuriating at the worst. Tests are hard and and the average mark is around 60-70%. Do anything you can to weasel out of taking his class.

Thanks to the tachings, he just cost most of our section 2.5% of our overall grade (ok... maybe it's more towards 30% to 40% of 2.5%). Nevertheless, for the first 4 questions during the marking of the quiz, all we could do is laugh when we heard the answers. Sad.
