Dr. Moeller is one of the best professors I have had at Mary Washington. His tests are challenging but if you study, attend class and understand the material thoroughly you will do very well. He expects a lot out of you but it's completely reasonable.

The best way to describe this class would be the fact that no matter if you can recite the textbook (that he wrote) word for word back to him during the test, you should consider yourself lucky to get a C. I've never worked harder, stressed more, and deserved a better grade than I did in this class. If you have any self respect, avoid this man!!!

difficult guy. seems nice enough, but can make you feel like a fool ina second, een though his questions beg verbatim responses from the text, which he wrote. informative, but you just can't win. detailed answers are marked down b/c too detailed, simple answers are marked down b/c too simple - the happy medium doesn't exist with him. exams brutal.

HORRIBLE...I can't stand this guy. I have an A in his class, so it isn't that he is difficult but he is unbelievably anal and annoying. He actually wrote me an email because I was late to his class ONE time...and said that was unacceptable. He needs to get over himself...I am dropping the practicum I signed up for in the spring just so I don't h

AHHHHHHH!!!! No matter what you do, or how you do it, it will never be good enough for this man. If you go in depth, he will tell you to simplify, and if you make it simple, he will tell you to go into more detail, and mark you down a TON for it all. If you consider yourself smart, don't take him, he'll make you question everything you ever thought

Great guy, very nice, clear and helpful. Now with that out of the way, he tests on your test taking abilities not on what you know. Impossible questions that he will find fault with no matter what you know or how much you study just because of the way you put it down on the page.

He's a really nice guy. His class is not easy. Don't go into it thinking that it will be. His tests are challenging. Most of your grade is based upon the three tests. Make sure you REALLY know the material in his book. He tries to be helpful, but his help didn't really work for me. It's a good class. Be ready to STUDY hard and often!!!

Be sure to participate and attend his class because you will be graded on both. If you read the book and the supplemental material you will be fine on the tests. He is a good professor and knows his stuff.

All you have to do is read the text and go to class. Its not really helpful if you ask him questions because he will just repeat exactly what it says in the book, which he wrote. Make sure you dont **** up on any of his exams b/c thats basically your entire grade.

Very thorough guy. Moeller is a stickler for details and expects nothing short of perfection on his tests. Be prepared to work in here and definitely show up to class and voluntarily participate (graded) in class. The homework sucks and the tests could be worse. Very nice guy outside of class though.

I love the material, but he can't teach it and he admits it. Too bad thier are not other teachers to teach the class, escept maybe Steckler but she will never teach it. He will take off points if you answer a question with material from another course- very annoying for higher level psych majors

Great class horrible teacher. Total disconnect between how he teaches and his tests. Participation grade is a joke since he makes you feel like an idiot for answers that aren't exactly what he thinks they should be. Love the subject matter would never take this prof again.

Moeller knows what he wants & expects a lot of his students, but contrary to popular belief, he's not tricky or unreasonable. It's easy to get an A if you study everything very carefully & are ready to apply it. I highly reccomend him because he's a brilliant man & you can learn a lot.

I loved Dr. Moeller's class! His tests are extremely fair, his lectures are interesting, and, best of all, there's lots of group work. Although he expects a lot from students, I didn't think the demands of the class were unreasonable.
