Probably the best course I've taken towards education. Prof. Mounkhall gives you a realistic outlook on teaching in high school, and you can really tell he was good at his craft. You will read the actual NYS history curriculum and he will give you job specific assignments. It's a long seminar but very useful. Speak up, don't be late and you'll get

I took this online, over the summer so I did not really want to do much and was not very motivated... worked out perfect though. He let me redo anything I wanted till it was an A, he was nice about everything and responded to emails immediately. Perfect online teacher! I liked him a lot and wish I had him for a real classroom!

Comment:

Best class and best professor I've had in college. Clear, straightforward, enthusiastic, helpful, effective...I could go on but the bottom line in that professor Mounkhall and his class (which I took at 830) was an incredibly influential point in my college career, and I hate history. Do whatever you have to to get into this class.

took him online this past summer and got an A... worked for it, but not too hard at all... every test, paper, or anything you do for him can be redone... He really wants everyone to do well and makes it clear... I redid one paper 4 times till I got an A, but only had to write over the parts that were bad... good good man!

Took class online. Cons: Had 8 discussions every week! (8 weeks) Pros: He makes it really easy to get a good grade. 2 Papers & 2 Tests. Once you submit, tells you exactly whats wrong. Fix it and you're guaranteed a good grade. Lax grader; my numbers added up to a B-/B. My Final grade was an A!

I can't believe how awesome and understanding he is!! He makes the class really interesting while being considerate of personal needs as well. I am so grateful I took mows with him. Take it, he's totally worth it.
