DON'T TAKE THIS TEACHER!! unless you are a natural born math wiz, then no problem. He doesn't teach anything, just confuses you more, gets off topic a lot, talks about his sleeping habits, brings in books about the black hole, terrible teacher but a really nice guy.

He is not a good teacher.But he tries his best to explain everything class.Probably you have to self-study all the time if you are not into Math.The textbook on Statistics by Matt Davis is poorly written. So you either have to go into group study or ask your peers about lectures. His exams are not difficult though.No need to memorize formulas.

Pleasant, nerdy, but basically good instructor, though a little disorganized and confusing at times. Tends to go on tangents that are off topic, but gets back on track if prompted. Very responsive to e-mails. Gives partial points on projects/tests. Get a study partner and do the projects and the homework! I realized this too late.

Mr.Burbridge is really nice and cool guy. He is very understanding, but his lectures are indeed confusing. It does help if you read the book before coming to the class. You gonna need extra help in his class. Do all the homework and mini-tabs and final exam, you will pass the class. nonetheless, compare to other teachers, he is much better.

Very boring. Goes off topic every class period. Homework not required. Exams difficult because he has too many lengthy problems and not enough time. Makes you feel stupid when you don't understand something. Late most of the time. Unorganized- loses papers all the time.

Mr. Burbridge is a nice cool guy. He grades quite fair. He give partial points for wrong answers. I would say that he grades on a curve. There are 4 exams and 1 final. the final consist of problems from the previous exams. I find his class to be very easy. Just take good notes and Listen to him when he tells you what is going to be on the exam.

Burbridge is a very cool guy who is passionate about math. He is *NOT* a good teacher however. Races through complicated problems, doesn't explain things clearly. Seems barely one step ahead of the class and wastes time discussing off-topic subjects often. No classroom discipline, doesn't grade HW meaningfully, review before exams are poorly done.

RUN WHILE YOU CAN. he's a horrible speaker, and horrible explainer. 2 hours, our first class, and we didnt even finish reading a 1 page syllabus! if you're going to take him, keep on top of your homework, and keep all notes and exams, thats the only way you'll get through. i got a good grade, but i had a lot of help!

So, it might be my fault that i ended up taking stat again after taking it in high school, but that leaves no excuse for me to be smarter than a COLLEGE PROFESSOR!! He's not a stat major, he even tells you that, he just likes statistics. My advice, take a stat major, you'll probably learn what you're supposed to instead of asking friends for help
