He is the most amazing professor I have ever had. You have a lot of quiz's but they are easy. Its just to get filler points for the people who actually come to class. He is so funny and it readings are light and entertaining. If you need any english and he teachs it then TAKE IT! you wont regret it.

I am an English major and just took this class for filler credits. However, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! It was one of the most insightful, fun, and exciting classes I have ever taken. He does expect you to work, but your work does not go unnoticed. HE will write an entire book's worth of comments on your assignments. He is amazing!

Absolutely great professor! Super helpful. You have to read the assignments, he gives you quizzes on them every time. His papers are quite long but the topics are interesting! I am taking him next semester for World Lit. I highly recommend him! He will help you however he can as long as you are making an honest effort! Great sense of humor!

He's actually every bit as great as everyone here says he is and if you have the chance to take him I say do it. He is way less hardcore about APA mentality than Dr. Daily will be, so psych majors be warned; but 103 with him will give you practice and some basic skills. Clear, hilarious lectures, reasonable assignments, fair grading...love him.

He is VERY funny, and an awesome guy. He knew how to make the class interesting, which is hard for a basic english class. Only about 3 major papers and some small writings. He encourages class participation and will like you even more if you join in. Great teacher...I learned alot.

GREAT PROFESSOR! I learned a LOT and LOVED reading "The Curious Incident" and "Pride and Prejudice"! I highly recommend you to take him! He is geared more toward reading and quizzes than writing papers. He requires 2 papers which is the minimum requirement for the course. GREAT professor!

What could I possibly say about Professor Panebianco that hasn't already been said? The man is hands down the best professor I've ever taken. Panebianco is everything a good teacher should be: considerate, humble, humorous, and fair. Take him for every class he teaches. You won't regret it.

I'm not one to post unless truly inspired. Mr. P. is by far the greatest prof that I've had the pleasure to grace my college career. Lots of reading, but mostly short stories and 2 small novels. A quiz follows each reading, exams are essay questions--but not difficult if you've listened, and 2 papers. ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS MAN! Gotta love him. A+++
