Staunch right winger. Sure. But good guy. If you're the only person who reads what he assigns in the class, you get the A. I feel I may know more about his life in NY than I do about Comparative Politics. I remember some facts about his mother. Suggested a classmate sue Trinity when he stepped in a hole on one of the fields citing ability to pay.

He is perhaps the worst professor ever. I was considering becoming a poly sci major before his course and will never take another class in the discipline all because of him. He rambles incoherently and uses horribly dense and boring books.

Terrible terrible person, monotone voice capable of knocking even the most attentive student out especially in early morning classes. Midterm is impossible, and the reading is dense and he does not explain it well in class, attendence not required but is a good idea considering the reading is hard

NEVER take this class. The lectures are incredibly boring, random and incomprehensible. He says himself that he truly believes C's are average, and grades so that half the class will get C's. Only 2 tests per semester. Gives a 5 pg. extra credit paper, but it barely affects your grade. Awful class.

Reilly was a little boring and his lectures were half-way out to left field, but he was sort of quacky in a good way. He knew his stuff and was a fair grader. Not much reading at all for his comparative politics class. Not a great, but not bad either.

Reilly's problem is that he has no sense of restraint. He just talks about anything that he sees relevant. This helps towards the end of the course when you can draw the conclusions he draws but is frustrating & confusing for most of the course.
