Best class I have ever had. He was funny, and he was brutally honest. You didn't read, he'd call you on it. He is very well-read, yet his teaching style doesn't have the makeup of a great teacher. Yet, he has an intangible that makes him great.

brilliant man with radical mind. a whale of a sense of humor and a real hoot to be around. unpretentious and genuinely interested in his students. BUT he is somewhat lazy and unstructured as a professor. bribe him with food! he'll glow like a little kid!

Watts is the best professor i have ever had. He is incredibly intelligent and well read. He has a unique style of teaching but he teaches for a broader level of comprehension. my watts classes helped me with every other class i took at trinity.
