He gets a bad rep, but I like Dr. Stieger. The course was helpful to gain a basic knowledge of soc, and also is dual honors credit. He may be opinionated, but he likes any1 who can hold intellectual conversation. Even still remembers me years later & stops to talk when we run into each other. Also a good resource for research opportunities/MCATprep

Good course for pre-meds, teaches you how to write a lit review. You might feel terrified at times by the work, but you will be fine! Just do the best you can, and you will pass with flying colors. Seminar-based course over medical issues at Union Hospital.

If you need sociology for honors or pre-med, this is the class for you! He may seem arrogant and pompous at times, but he lets you have an opinion. Advice: do the assignments thoroughly, and ask questions, he will purposely make stuff vague to make you ask him. Participate and do the homework, and you will get an A without worries.

The best professor I've had so far. He really opens student's minds if they allow him to. He lets us choose the questions that are going to be on the test and if students read the material assigned to them then it's an easy A! Very down to Earth and educated guy and makes you obtain a different perspective on life both mentally and in the physical!

This class is pretty easy if you go to class, he is a teacher who always thinks he is right, if you raise your hand in class you better have a good explanation and answer...if you complete all the assignments and do them well you will do well in the class.. many of the questions on his test are from the book so i would def. read.

This class is boring, boring, boring! I had a hard time staying awake for his lectures. Very dry sense of humor, and not too entertaining. It isn't an easy class to blow off, he always has in class participation points. It's a very easy "A" but you better show up.

The class was okay. Sometimes his lectures were interesting but there was alot of powerpointwhich got old. He was funny but has a very dry kind of humor that may be taken the wrong way by some people so if you get easily insulted i won't take this class.

Awesome Teacher! Very helpful. Have to read assignments though and there are small 3 question quizzes every now and then. Not boring at all. I loved this class. He made it very interesting. Loves opinions and powerpoints. People say it is heavy reading but it is still a very good class. It was great. I would take it over again if I could.

Very easy class. He's very opinionated and sometimes it seemed like if your opinion wasn't exactly the same as his, then it was wrong, but other than that the class is great. There's a lot of reading and quite a few quizzes. Lots of group work. An easy A though if you do the readings. He explains things very well, and makes the material very understandable. Nice professor. I'd recommend him.
