Tim Biehler can be a jerk sometimes, and is a stickler for meeting deadlines, and problems being 100% correct. Discrete Math students. DO YOUR DAMN HOMEWORK, right from the get go. It might seem easy, but oh boy, it turns into mideval torture 101 after the first few weeks. Great guy though, always willing to help, and classes were really fun.

Tim is hilarious no matter what math class you take with him. Book work has always been optional but highly recommended in my experience. Grades come from in class quizzes which are problems taken straight from the previously assigned book work. Do the book work and the quizzes will be a breeze. Tests are difficult. Definitely recommend!!

I took CALC I with him and am currently taking CALC II. He is very clear and always willing to help. Don't skip class and don't expect help from him if you skip. You have to apply yourself and put in the time in order for him to help you and put in his time. He is very fair as well.

This guy transformed my math experience. I went from hating math to loving it, thanks to his approach. Clear, consistent, patient, and enthusiastic. Always willing to explain. Homework is thoughtfully assigned, not busy work. Tests are challenging but if you've done well on your homework you'll do well on the tests. Wish there were more like him.

Really changed my attitude towards math. Business Math with him was interesting, as his classes are high-energy and applicable to real issues in banking, mortgages, credit card interest and other finance topics. He sticks close to the book because he wrote it, so our class let him know it when we found a spelling error. Which he takes in stride.

If you are not a good test taker (like myself) forget about passing this class. I had three tutors and could not pass his class. When I went to talk to him about it he just said leave your baggage at the door. I had to drop the class because he was of NO HELP!! I am a straight A student so this is not coming from a slacker. Not highly recommended
