Easily the most boring and easiest class I've ever taken. I literally didn't go for about a month and still did relatively well. I love Art History, and I was bored to tears every day.

Chasson is the sweetest old man you'll ever meet. sure, he seems to be getting alzheimer's. he always forgets words mid-sentence and goes on tangents, but they're interesting and it's hilarious whenever he talks about sexual topics. LOTS of reading, though - more so than my 300-level psych course...

Sweetest grandpa you'll ever meet. Always willing to take the time to talk to you, and replies to questions via e-mail immediately. He likes to talk slowly and thoughfully-so be ready to sit on your butt for a longggg time-patience is a virtue.

He has great intentions, is a really nice guy, extremely knowledgeable, but I would avoid this class like the plague. His voice is hypnotizing and everyone is nodding off within minutes; he's not very lively, the readings are long and tedious, and he asks very dull, obvious questions. Think twice.

Chasson knows a lot about art history and you can learn a lot about art in his course. However, hes extremely boring in class and has really dull lectures. Not a hard grader, but you seem to learn just as much from the book as him sometimes.
