A pretty good prof for subject matter so mundane. Tries really hard to make all the concepts clear and even brings his own research into the lectures which is kind of cool. Participation is a huge part of your grade but he does that through lots of different activities so if you're shy it won't impact your grade. Show up and you're fine.

Really nice guy, extremely helpful, but could he pick up the pace a little? His subject matter is dry and thats not his fault, but we move through it way too slowly. I can see his position though, move any faster and students who get a bad mark will blame him. I don't envy the math teacher at an arts school, good luck Tim!

Well his subject really sucks! but he does very well for the fact he has boring information to talk about.. He makes silly jokes which keeps you awake...Go to class it will help.. and he makes you apply what you learned so don't just study the facts! Great prof!!!

The only reason I can think that people would rate this prof negatively is if they got a bad mark and then blamed it on the prof. Tim is a great teacher who is genuinely concerned with the well-being of his students. He relates the material to real-life situations. He is thorough and a really nice guy.
