This guy is awesome! this is the second class I've taken with him and he was great in both and he's really funny. Attendance isn't mandatory but needed to pass the test, and quizzes are unannounced. Test and quizzes aren't hard. If you read the book and attend lectures then you'll do fine in the class.

Excellent class and even better teacher. If you have an interest in the subject (Greek and Roman Myth, which I did) the class will be even easier. He's funny and makes VERY fair quizzes and tests, so long as you pay attention and prepare for them. Read the book and go to class and you'll do fine.

Awesome Prof, one of my best. Funny and very easy to understand - he explains the stories in a way that makes them easy to remember. Reading the text just helps straighten out the finer details of the myth and get the names straight - but you if you go to class, he explains everything. Highly recommend this class!

Best teacher I've ever had. Teaches the best way possible: through humor. It helps you remember exactly what he said so during a test you know and you even might chuckle from a joke he told. He tells you to read but he makes all the material from the book a lot clearer. Easy class if you have the least bit of interest in Greek Myth.

I liked Prof. Johnson so much that I took two of his classes (Rome and myths). He is passionate about the subject matter, knows the information incredibly well, and has a great sense of humor. When he lectures, write down everything he says (don't rely on the powerpoints). Exams may be a bit detailed, but an A is easily obtainable. Johnson rocks!

He is a really awesome professor. I took the Gradeur that was Rome with him last semester and it quickly became my favorite class. He's really interesting and funny. His tests are really detailed, but if you study and pay attention in class you should be fine. Awesome professor. :)

Hard professor. It's definitely not an easy A... his classes require lots of studying and reading. That aside, I loved the material, so I didn't mind studying. Mr. Johnson is helpful and he makes class fun with his jokes. Overall, I learned tons in the class and would recommend him.

This guy is a total JOHNSON. He plays favorites to those who kiss his pedantic butt. He even got in trouble for doing it. Your grade is determined by his affinity for you. He teaches like a high school football coach. He is rude and disrespectful to many of his students. If you don't mind kissing it, go ahead and take the class.

Incredible. The man is simply amazing. He is funny as crap, and is an expert on what he teaches. This class is not an easy A, however. His tests are very detailed. He looks like Tom Hanks from Castaway. I love this man. Timothy Johnson is a must-take. Oh, by the way, I'm a biochemistry major, so if I liked it, you probably will too.

This guy is an AMAZING teacher. Seriously. The stuff is really detailed though, so you have to study pretty hard. If you're looking for an easy elective don't take it, but if you're looking for an interesting, well-taught class, I'd definitely recommend it.

If you're looking for an easy elective, don't pick this class. You have to study a lot to get an A or B because the tests are super detailed. Besides that, I enjoyed the class. Johnson knows a lot about the subject and gives great lectures, just don't expect an easy A out of it.
