This guy is really really smart. He is not a good teacher. Everyone in my class is confused, even after attending his review sessions at his house. His exams are a blood bath, EVERYONE is lost. I would like to rate the guy good, his is a nice guy and cracks cheesy jokes but he should not be teaching. It's like Einstein teaching..hard to understand.

Worst math professor I have ever had. Math is not by any means my strong suit so I went into this class prepared to pay attention and do any/all work to get a passing grade. From the first class session I was completely confused! He provides his own notes, rather than book. I would NOT reccommend to anyone. Take Surina.

Good professor! Very nice guy and willing to help. However, his test are very hard! There isn't any homework. I have realized you don't study math, you practice it. If you don't find a way to practice, you will fail. He curves like a champ though !!!

Good class, but wish it had a textbook to link it all together. If you take any of Prof. Keller's, be prepared to teach yourself a lot and work extremely hard (I sure did) but he curves very nicely at the end of the course. Nice guy, for the most part, corny jokes, definitely not the easiest class to stay awake in.

If you take Dr. Keller's class be prepared to study your brains out. Lecture notes are posted online with old exams so don't get the book. Beware of his 2nd exam. I'm pretty sure he curves final grades or else most everyone would have an F.

no interest in STAT,not my forte; prof explained the subject very well -goofy,geeky stories. Even w/ the lack of algebra I have, I was able to understand the formulas. No textbook needed,uses his own handouts & MINITAB; very detailed & helpful. You must practice and not cram. Plenty of info on classweb; responds to emails; TA sucked! Take Dr. K.

the WORST teacher that i've ever had. Handouts are extremely hard to understand and there is no assigned textbook. I've given up listening to his lectures because he goes soo fast. i'm relying on the TA since everytime I email him, he gives me a snotty reply, making me feel stupid. His exams are very hard, alway something new in each question.

he is nice guy BUT his exams which i didnt like it. first exam was really good b/c most of the problems he gave from old exams but other two exams were horrible. I didnt understand his exams b/c we never used book and we met once in a week. he is NOT good professor. dont take him. you will be responsible of yourself.

Dr. Keller is a nice guy but this is a very very demanding class. The first exam was ok but the other two were really hard (the class average was less than 60%). The rest are minitabs which are pretty easy. The only reason many of us passed is because he curves a lot in the end. Don't take him unless u r really willin to work.

This class was interesting, but really difficult, especially since it only met once a week! If math doesn't come naturally for you, I recommend getting the textbook so you'll have more problems available than the practice tests, unless you really want to sit in the computer lab making up problems with the minitab software.

Get him if you can. He really enjoys his job and treats you with respect. His handouts are a little hard to decipher without the textbook, so get it. He's always good-natured and cracks jokes to keep things fun, which, if you hate math, really helps you pay attention and get it.

The course deals with a lot of material, he uses his own handouts to teach so there is no need to get the textbook. Everything is explained within the handouts he provides. Very good with giving extra help and really likes when students put in a lot of effort in order to do well in his class. He definetly recognizes hard work ethic and rewards it!

He's the nicest guy EVER. His handouts make it all possible. You really don't need to buy the book since he hands all the info to you in class and through his notes posted on classweb. He's a great guy and really wants everyone to do well although he won't just hand out A's. He makes Statistics understandable!

It's difficult class. Dr. Keller is a goofy, crazy man, and he tells terrible jokes. In spite of this, he extensively explains the subject area and he actually teaches, instead of dictating.

he's corny, but he makes a point of helping you and wants you to pass, not like the other stats teachers. its a hard class to start with, but if you try and if you get him to help you along, you'll be fine. he works kinda fast, but puts almost everything in easy-to-understand terms.

He is awsome, I failed this class in the Spring 06 with different Professor, than I took his Summer 06 class. He is crystal clear and goes out of his way to help, if you take advantage of everythin he has to offer you will great. Math is my weakness!

Professor Keller is a nice guy but an awful teacher! Just go to his review sessions for the exams!!! And if you don't understand the take-home assignments, ask him for help and he will practically do it for you.
