Keep up with the work weekly and you should be fine. Professor is very lenient on due dates, but try not to wait till the end to catch up. No accounting class is easy, but this class was very helpful and you can pass if your willing to learn the material.

4 midterms, none of them dropped. If you miss one you'll have to drop the class. You do problems in class that are almost identical to some sample problems he shows you, so doing those should be easy. He also gives extra credit throughout the quarter. Studying is probably a must. Nice and soft-spoken guy, would take him for other accounting courses

I took his Night class and I LOVE IT!!!! It was really easy to pass his test as long as you paid attention in class. He is really easy going and is willing to help you in anyway possible. He gives out extra credit and will do anything he can to make sure you pass!

Professor Ratchford's class was great! He is a wonderful teacher, super knowledgeable, and even though I took a night class, he was always there to help me with getting through the class and learning as much as I could. Would definitely take Prof. Ratchford again! :)

Mr Ratchford is a very good teacher. His lectures are very to the point. He is super helpful, so don't be afraid to ask. He is also very flexible when it comes to turning in assignments. If you need extra time to complete he has no issues. Make sure you do the assignments to practice accounting and you will do very well. Be prepared to work.

Tim is a really great guy and will do all he can to be flexible w his students to help them do well in the class. I would not recommend taking the once a wk online hybrid class as its strongly emphasized on individual learning and not built around lectures. I think his regular class would have been more helpful to me bv Acctg was too hard online.

I toke him once a week during the evening. His lectures were confusing and boring. His nice but lazy cuz all the hw wasn't mandatory to turn in. If you don't undertand or do the hw you will do bad on tests. His tests have trick questions so beware of that. You need to be able to learn and study the material on your own.

I took both Financial (ACCT10) and Managerial Accounting (ACCT11) from Professor Ratchford. He encourages his students to ask questions and will invest the time to help one understand. His professional background in the field is extensive and varied. I am sad that there is not an Accounting 12 class so I can take a course from him again.

You have to study alot- keep up with the reading & homework excercises and ask questions & you'll do fine. Accounting's a practice and you gotta stay on top of it. Accounting is hard to begin with but Tim is a great teacher. He is very easy going and is a fairly easy teacher, you just have to go to class and pay attention and you will pass. He tells you whats going to be on the tests, and will help you with everything. I would definatly recommend him if you like to take night classes.
