Comment:

Professor was lazy and gave all kinds of busy work, but the kicker was he doesn't grade anything. You have no clue how you are doing in the class. All this money for class I got nothing out of it. Writing definitions should not be part of a graduate class. He is very nice but lazy with making this class interesting.

He is exactly what you expect in a grad level professor. More thinking and less lecture on text material. Lots of homework and very time consuming, but he gives good grades if the effort it there. Interesting lectures and must be ready to participate. 2 case write ups and group project and a final exam.

Comment:

Took as a condensed summer course (5 weeks), but it wasn't overwhelming. Which is good, because assignments were posted in pieces during the week. You didn't always know what was coming, or how to schedule your time to get it done. Slow to grade, didn't always reply to questions, feedback was sparse, and he didn't interact on discussion threads.

Shea is a great professor. He is very approachable and his lectures are pretty interesting. There are weekly homework assignments, but they are straightforward. Two short case write-ups, a group presentation, and a take-home exam made up the final grade. Overall, pretty easy class and there are often interesting discussions in small groups.

This guy is real easy, he gives alot of stupid little homework assignemts, but they are easy and help your grade. He seems kind of lazy and takes forever to get grades back to you, but he's laid back and is an easy grader.

Excellent professor!He knows his stuff and always willing to help. I am not saying he is easy, if you want to learn he is the guy...Keeps you busy with work but when the test time comes your happy he gave the work. Great guy..
