I took this class in hopes of learning some new material instead I felt like I was in a high school health class all over again. Lectures are extremely boring to the point where I stop caring! Tests are extremely difficult as well and I feel like her notes don't really have much to do with the tests. Oh and her notes contradict the textbook!

Comment:

Great professor. Classic style. All lecture, three tests. Clearly knows material and in my opinion articulates well. Took her for psych of sex. EXTREMELY difficult tests that are normally curved by about thirty points. I would not take her for 101 but if you're a psych major with legitimate interest her lecturing is very rewarding.

You have to study. Professor Harding made me work for my grade. Go to class take notes and her exams are straight out of her lecture notes. Her exams are very tricky so when studying you have to learn it to it minute detail. Do all the extra credit and score above a 65 on all her tests and you will get a A. She is very helpful when you approach her

Out of all of my classes last semester, this was the only interesting and challenging class I took. The material was really interesting and she knows it well! The people that are bashing her probably did poorly in her class. Easy A if you are a great note taker and actually pay attention in class!!

Professor Harding is amazing! She makes clear notes for all to understand and is willing to explain everything she talks about. Your grade is based off of 3 exams and extra credit; I got Bs on the first 2 exams and a bunch of extra credit. I don't know how I did on the final, but I got an A in the class! Take her! No complaints!

She is SUCH a nice person. She seems to be stand-offish if you just meet her but she really does want you to LEARN. Statistics are important if you plan on going on in psychology so she is preparing you for that. And she IS an actual professor, not a graduate student so she really knows her stuff, and will do her best to teach you it.

She is really nice and everything but I found this class to be so tedious to go to. Attendance is mandatory for freshman. The tests are fair if you study everything you have to. I studied EVERYTHING possible and I got an A in the class so your work toward the class is reflected in your grade. READ THE QUESTIONS ON THE TEST. They can be a bit tricky

This class isn't exactly hard,but you have to be a good test taker because she's a horrifically bad teacher. She just lists statistics and spent about half the semester doing straight biology. Literally how is a baby born stuff. I felt like I was in High school Health class all over again. She doesn't take attendance and curves 20-30 points though.

Class was not what I expected at all. There was intense focus on stats & biology instead of on psychology. ENTIRE class period was spent listening to long list of facts & writing notes, very little student involvement. Not engaging. Prof. seemed nice though. Tons of reading, no HW or essays, grade based entirely on 3 tests. Attendance not taken.

Terrible teacher!!! The class has about 70 students yet she finds it necessary to whisper! No one can hear her speak and she speaks to us as if we understand her lingo. She makes no sense- she doesnt explain anything! Her tests are impossible she deliberately tries to confuse you! stay away form this professor

I cannot emphasize enough how terrible this professor is. All she does is present numerous statistics and make the students memorize percentages. I was very interested in this class, however, as the class progressed, my interest diminished. I am a psychology major and this was the only class that I had a b. I DO NOT recommend this professor.

She gives a lot of information, which doesn't show up on exams, but this is a good thing if you want to learn and not just get an A! She is informative, and the class is useful for cultivating your ability to take information and analyze it, rather than spitting back facts. She also gives a HUGE curve because of the high volume of info. Easy A.

Even though the topic is interesting, the professor is really boring. Unless you are interested in learning statistics and percentages, do NOT take this professor's class. Exams are extremely complicated and not straightfoward.Grades are curved. I recommend the class;however, I certainly do NOT recommend this professor.

Human Sexuality was a very interesting class. The information was very relevant and I attended every class and took good notes. Attendance is not mandatory, unless you are a freshman. However, if you take this class, you NEED the textbook. Her tests are VERY difficult and you need to make sure you pay attention in class and read the book.

Professor Harding is wonderful. This class is extremely relevant to the world today and the information she provides is quite interesting. She gives a lot of opportunity for extra credit, and always responds to e-mails and is available for help after class. Attendance not mandatory, but a lot of the test questions come from lecture so go to class!
