Comment:

Tim is a good teacher for students who are not very good at math or do not like it. He clearly explains everything and will answer any questions. He also allows a cheat sheet to be used on his tests. However, be aware that there is homework assigned almost every class and he deducts points if you walk into class late.

His class format is engaging and easy to understand. Many classes are fairly short, as he only explains what is needed and doesn't overdo it if he doesn't have to. He will always make time or stay after class to help you if you ask him, you can tell he genuinely cares.

I hated math, but him as a teacher really helped me to be able to pass. His class format is engaging and easy to understand. Lectures very well and will help anyone who asks. Everything is online... Homework, tests, even the final exam. He will only give you one worksheet a week to do in class and it only takes 15-20 minutes to do and then you can leave. Do not skip class if you want to pass the class. After the final exam I had an A but missed a few classes & I got a B+

Great teacher. I'm not proud to say it but after trying algebra way too many times, Professor Steger made it almost easy. He uses a very simple method of lecture in which you take notes and then do the homework online (which rocks btw) and then you have a refresher thing every Friday. He is very positive and makes it easy to learn algebra.

Absolutely loved this teacher! I personally love Algebra, so maybe that's why I got an A. He allows you to use "cheat sheet" for quizzes, tests, and finals! I loved how we were able to work in groups for quizzes only. There was no txtbook for this class, most of our homework was online, which was a bit alot, but Tim Steger is a nice guy! Take him!

Awesome guy. I was online and needed tons of help all the time and he was willing to sit down and help until I understood it. He even stayed past office hours up to an hour to help me. Made math a lot more tolerable and understandable.

Tim is a decent teacher I'm sure... But he doesn't take time in class to help students who are lost. Nor does he make himself available to assist in students who are lost. You can almost never reach him and when you do, he usually asks you to come back when he is "more available."
