Timothy Anderson is a great guys and funny professor! He was very enthusiastic about what he was studying and was always running around the room. Tests aren't easy though, you need to study, but the class is not impossible. Just be a college student and put in a little work. He wrote the book and if you read it, it can help you because he wrote it.

Tests are very hard but the map quizzes are easy there only worth half a test though. Lectures are very long and boring. If you go to class you don't need book considering he wrote it....

Anderson is just a really cool guy. You can tell that he cares about the information that he's teaching. The map quizzes are NOT hard, I studied for maybe 45 mins for each of them (there's 3). He wrote the book for the class, so as long as you read that thoroughly and take good notes from it, you're golden.

Anderson is a great professor. Although the material wasn't exactly my favorite, I went to class every day. You can really tell that Anderson enjoys teaching and is enthusiastic about the material he teaches. He's very animated and it helped keep me interested. Be sure to study the material and meet with him for tips on how to study. It helps!

Class isn't mandatory because all the notes are on blackboard and he also wrote the book so the notes are right from that. However, he does go over the maps in class which is helpful. Class is quite boring and there are a lot of notes. Make sure to study details for the exam even though he tells you not to.

Attending class isnt really necessary because Anderson puts the notes on Blackboard, but it is helpful because he explains the maps that are on his exams. Class was pretty boring. He says not to study the little details for the exams, but you definitely should. He gets very specific and and its necessary to examples.

I am not thrilled with this class particularly but Dr A was great. Although it was difficult because we received 3 or 4 weeks of lectures and power points, then were tested on it... it was weird. Info was just sort of thrown at you, and you gotta find a way to retain it.

Reasonable class! Moderate studying needed to get a A. He tells you not to study the fine details.. But you really should because his exams are mildly specific. Otherwise, very interesting class! Attendance not mandatory but helpful with comprehending things. Three exams and three homework assignments (that I'm pretty sure he doesn't even look at!

Awesome Teacher! Guy was a bit too much sometimes, he was just funny when he was explaining things, he would run around and throw his hands in the air. He is a really passionate teacher about this stuff and it shows. Attended class on review days, when we turned in a homework (only three), and exam days. Three exams I got a B+,A-,B+.

Great guy. Best professor I have had in 2 years here at OU. Very nice, wants you to understand everything. 3 tests and 3 noncomprehensive exams. If you do the homework and read the chapter once and highlight, a "B" on the exam is early. Class isn't mandatory, but he does ask a few questions on the exams that he only talks about in class.

Very passionate about geography. Lectures and book are identical because he wrote the book, so very easy to study. The tests were fairly straight forward. Overall a typical 100 level, basic lecture class. Easy if you're a senior like me!

Class isn't mandatory, but I would recommend going. Tests are somewhat difficult because if not attending class. He is extremely passionate about his field, so his classes aren't completely boring if you find it cool to see someone so interested in their field. Altogether, I would take this class.

I found this class very interesting but those who say it was easy I wish you would have been in my class. The tests were tough in my opinion and I finished with a C. I guess it depends on the student but this is the 1 class that kept me from getting deans list.

This has to be one of the easiest classes in the world. His slides are kinda boring, but he's really energetic so that makes up for it. You don't have to go to class. All important dates are in the syllabus. Read the entire book, he wrote it and it's actually pretty interesting. If you read, you'll be fine. Great class.
