The subject matter could have been interesting, but I just didn't think he was a very interesting lecturer. The essays in this class were graded pretty harshly by the TA, but after the final my grade was suprisingly better than I expected.

A professor with great international research experience and botanist at heart. He is interesting when enthusiastic about a topic and his boredom is very apparent in areas not directly related to his line of work. A true mentor and gives time to his students.
