I really enjoyed having Dr. Sherwood as my professor. He is very helpful, encouraging, supportive, and truly wants all his students to succeed. He brought in food for us on exam days and always kept the class lighthearted.

Brilliant professor. Hes really passionate about his subject, and he's always willing to help out students as long as they ask for help. He plays fair, and doesnt favor students. Hes tough, but he gives great advice about life as well as chem.

He is a hard teacher, but a great one. He prepares you for graduate studies and life in general. Easy teachers do not prepare you for anything. He doesn't pass out the "milk and cookies" that most professors do. It is a shame that people have rated him negatively. Those comments are based on poor grades, attitude, and a poor desire to learn!
