Comment:

Just do everything he says to do it's not hard. The tests are ONLY on the book chapters so read them & you're fine. No he won't teach them in class. He doesn't answer emails bc he's busy w/ a myriad of different things like his soccer shoe he has out. But he will always see u during his office hours. Not difficult at all people are just lazy.

He never replies to emails and acts like he doesn't want to be there. Does not really teach just expects you to be a natural speech giver, there is also little to no feedback. On top of the fact he spent maybe two days on material. I would not recommend him for this class.

He expects so much from the students. He doesn't understand that a lot of the students are poor, so they can't even afford to pay for visual aids for their group presentations! He doesn't reply to emails and the textbook material is only covered in two or three days of classes during the entire quarter but he expects you to read everything! :(

He is not good at replying back to his students via email and he doesn't even help the students with the computer when they have difficulties. He would only say "I don't know" when he knows very well how to work the damn computer. All instructors were taught or shown how it works. I would not recommend his class to anyone!

I do not recommend his class. He does not care if you learn anything at all. He doesn't really cover the materials with you to help you understand what is in the book. He wants the class to teach itself the material. He is a great salesman though . He just can't deliver on any promises of teaching you anything.

He really didn't care about anyone but himself and that was obvious. Didn't respond to emails, didn't acknowledge getting emails. Didn't joke and wasn't serious. Just didn't care to be there. I don't recommend him but I hear good things about other instructors for CMST&101.

The Professor is pretty straight forward on everything. He doesn't go over everything on the text book. I recommend you reading all the assign chapters if you want to do well in his class. Overall, his class was well worth the take. And there will be several presentations. Good Luck!

Don't take his class unless you want to be pointed out in class and made fun of. He'll treat you as if you are in highschool and he never replies to emails and he's very rude if you speak to him in person but in front of the class he acts like the good guy..he grades VERY hard so goodluck to you if you end up with him.

Okay teacher. You have to come to class every day. You earn participation points that way. You have 3 main tests out of the book that you need to study for. He lets you know right off the bat that he is the son of the Dean @ HCC. He knows his subject, but does not teach from the book, even when the tests are from the book.I do not think he is fair at grading, and if you do something he does not like he embarrasses you in front of the whole class. For a CMST101 level class, he gives too much work to do.

When he is speakign in front of the class he is nice, but when you communicate on to one with him, he is mean. Talks way too much and thinks to highly of himself. Expects a lot from his students when he himself doesn't meet the standards he sets to others. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE BOOK & ALWAYS GO TO CLASS & you'll do fine

Great teacher, although he doesn't get back to emails. Has one extremely hard project in which you find a company and interview them about things they do to give back to the community. Tests are hard unless you study hard, because he doesn't teach out of the book. But his tests are out of the book. SO READ EVERYTHING OVER AND OVER UNTIL YOU GET IT!

very awesome teacher, keeps the class engaged. knows what he's talking about. i've learned a lot about public speaking and interviewing in the class. Do not take this class unless you are willing to do all of the work or you will fail. He's just really cool and down to earth. Understands if you are busy, if you take the time to talk to him.

Funny that he teaches communicating but doesn't answer e-mail! Does not follow the book. Pretty decent instructor but sure talks a lot. I hate that he is consistently late to class
