He's gone now, unfortunately. Dr. Lidh is so passionate about his subject that one can't help but admire him. He's always ready with a quick joke and made time for students whenever he could. Informal class atmosphere, but highly analytic. I entered knowing little about John Milton, but left as a huge fan. Lidh's definitely one of the best.

Some people don't like his teaching style. He likes his classes informal and interesting. He likes everyone involved and talking about the material. He tries to help out when possible and make things clear. I enjoyed his class & would take another with him if I needed something he teaches.

I loathed this man. He has a smart comment for everything not only in the classroom but in his e-mails as well. His papers are absurd and his grading nothing short of ridiculous. I took NOTHING away from his class except a pure hatred for everything Todd Lidh.

No one I knew could ever get papers back from him, and if you finally did, you could tell he spent all of three minutes writing two comments to justify whatever grade he had already given you. Mostly his classes are a personality cult, and, if you don't mind supplicating yourself, you'll probably do well. Keep your dignity and wait for Tamara.

Todd is not only an amazing professor but an amazing person! He's smart and funny and the best Flagler's got! Anyone should be so lucky as to have him for a professor. He's not going to give you the A, but you'll be happy you worked for it and you'll know more about the subject than you ever thought you could! He's the best!!!

I have to say, after all the hype, I was disappointed. Yes, he's charming, but he could also be cruel at times. I hated that in an upper level class, he dictated the EXACT topic of our final papers. Give your students a little credit for creative thought. Not all of us like to regurgitate a professor's ideas back at him.

I met Dr. Lidh once during a visit to Flagler back when I was still trying to decide what college to go to, and he sealed the deal! He's probably the only person who could make you have fun while reading all of Beowulf. He grades hard, but he's always fair and his comments are helpful.

Hot hot hot man, but even if he weren't he's great. He's really funny and makes the material funny, and interesting. He does a really great blend of discussion and lecture, cares about students and loves what he does. He expects good work but is not incredibly anal, understands that people have off days and will not penalize them for it.
