Amazing professor! I took both his econ 120 and 121 classes, and I always recommend him to my friends! The course is pretty straight forward, read the textbook and you will do well on the homework and test. He is very understanding, and is very helpful if you need help with the topics!

This was by far my most difficult class of the semester, but also the most rewarding. His knowledge of, and work in the field is incredible. It can be a bit intimidating at first but were lucky to have this caliber of Professor here at Grossmont. He was always happy to answer questions and help me keep up with the lecture. Cares about students

His online class was pretty easy, only reason I got a C was because I missed a few responses from his weekly assignment and because I didn't study much to prepare myself for the tests. Will be taking his class again because his class is self explanatory just have to apply yourself to actually read the chapters. Determined to get an A next semester.

He provide a free source of textbook for student, so we don't need to purchase one. The grade distribution is 75% for 3 tests and 25% for assignment. The assignment is mostly a critical thinking from each chapter and type a short answer for it. I suggest to open the textbook when taking the test because he will ask some really detail questions.

When Mr Myers discussed the lectures he was fairly effective at narrowing down the most important parts of each chapter. However, he tends to go off topic and talk about politics alot which gets very irritating. This is an economics class not political science. He is reasonable and cares about his students. Overall decent teacher.

I took Myers for ECON 120 during summer 2017. This was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. There is a bunch of reading to do nightly and the assignments are different than what you read, and are worth 35%. There also is an 8-10 page paper that was graded leniently. If you do take Myers purchase CHEGG. It helps with the Aplia assignments.

As a political science major, I enjoyed Prof. Myers' lectures greatly! However, he does often stray away from the topics we are suppose to learn about. He is strange, yet humorous. 4 online tests and a 10-page paper is basically the grade. Textbook is a must. Also, I suggest this course for political science majors for the content is advanced.

Oh Todd Myers... He is a character! I always saw people dozing off during his lectures but I always thought he was funny and entertaining despite the subject. His class is very simple, take the 4 tests, write your essay and you will be fine. If you ask for help he will go above and beyond to help you. I had him for 3 semesters and I learned a lot.

If you don't absolutely need to take Econ 120 online then just don't. This class was very challenging and I had to teach myself pretty much 90% of the content. I wouldn't blame the teacher, he is there to help, but I think this is a class that is much more suited to being taught in person and also not packed into a month (I took it intersession).

I don't mind reading. But my complaint is this is a foundational course in political theory yet we didn't get any introduction to the theories. Jumping right into Plato and Aristotle at the beginning with no framework within which to understand them, it's hard to discuss their concepts. Also, "lectures" online should be real not just PPT bullets.

Lectures are very boring. He gets distracted a lot. Smart but he seems like he hates his job. Online homework was easy if you focused otherwise it was confusing and dreadful. I got a C without trying.

Difficult online class if new to econ ideas. Grade consists of equal parts: forum, research paper, final and aplia exercises. The forums are interesting. Research paper was fun and straight forward. Aplia assignments are challenging, must read text and lectures. Final exam is difficult. Fair at grading.

I'll make it clear off the bat, Professor Myers is an amazing lecturer if you are majoring as Poli Sci. He lectures don't relate to the material, but he is interesting and very out there, in a good way. 4 tests, 1 paper, two essays. If you aren't interested in Poli Sci, I would say pass. But if you are, highly recommend Professor Myers.

Showing up to lecture is pointless. He puts all the slides online. Went to class for two weeks and realized it was necessary because he just reads the slides and goes on random tangents. If you take the time to study slides you should be good.

Lectures are conversational, thinks aloud & muses a lot. Welcomes comments from students, and doesn't take himself too seriously. Test questions are DIRECTLY from the book, you can just rent it(no online code) and if you take good notes and you'll do well on the tests. Start the 10 page paper early, it sneaks up on you at the end of the semester.

I took his Micro class freshman year, easy A, his tests and finals were true false/ multiple choice. I figured his online class would be just as easy but I was dead wrong. I would read full chapters of the book and still be baffled on the homework. you are required to write an essay of a minimum of 6 pages. DO NOT TAKE HIS ONLINE CLASS!!!

Todd is not your average teacher. He is interesting. He is the manifestation of philosophy. A real head scratching, beard stroking thinker. This class has a lot of religion in it. AND most importantly Todd doesn't asume to be correct, he is not afraid to be wrong yet he agrees that some answers are difficult to find. An acquire taste (beard stroke)

100% online class and textbook. Homework on aplia each week was tedious, but not difficult. Discussion questions also due each week. Was easy to reach by email. Research paper due at the end. Don't let it sneak up on you and you'll be fine. Overall, class was pretty fun. He enjoys what he does.

Hardest class I have ever taken. The online weekly assignments took 2-6 hours per week and were not explained clearly in the book. He offers no lectures or tools to help with weekly assignments. Sends short recap of topic and end of week. If you are not able to teach yourself Economics, then DO NOT TAKE HIM! A 7 pg paper was required.
