DO NOT take a class with Todd. I took an Intro class w/ him and he's very openended to the extent of not knowing what is expected until he returns a low grade, despite really putting a lot of effort into the writings. Not very understanding/helpful & basically is a grump. He encourages you to read difficult readings, but criticizes reflections.

A funny man, he just talks and talks and talks. You can try to take notes, but really try to understand what he's saying. He knows so much and his lectures reveal that - but it's not always clear what the point is. But a great teacher none the less.

This guy rocks! He questions everything, including you. Be prepared, it'll be challenging and rewarding. I once met him in Canada where he asked for my shades. Canada surely lost one of it's best minds.

First HWC i took and boy was i lucky to have this guy. Everyone else had tough assignments with their small groups, while we would just talk through what we were supposed to know and he would give us helpful hints for the tests. i think he had the lowest ego emissions of all the hwc teachers in the past 3 years, excluding dr. Diggs of course.

I loved my classes with Todd, as it opened up my mind to many different things. He's a young prof who is very easygoing and willing to discuss nearly anything. He's very knowledgable, and will kindly share information without preaching.
