Dr. Peppers is easily my favorite professor at Roanoke. He is one of the most approachable and likable professors at Roanoke. His lectures are interesting and thought provoking. He does give a good amount of reading but the readings are ACTUALLY interesting. If you've done the readings and paid attention in class you will do well in his class.

Comment:

Easily the best professor that I had my first semester at Roanoke . His lectures and discussions are both interesting and thought provoking. The tests are difficult but definitely manageable as long as you pay attention in class and do the reading.

Dr. Peppers is an extremely helpful teacher. I was awful at Poli Sci and failed 2/3 tests. If you don't understand, ask for help during his office hours. After his generous offer to go over study guides, I finally aced the last test and got a B in the class!

Not the easiest professor on campus, but one of the best. If you actually try in class you'll do well...slack off and you'll be punished. He keeps his classes interesting and will try to help out if he can. For advising, he can be hard to get ahold of, so keep on him about something if you want it to get done.

Okay, the bad stuff first. He has a PhD. in Political Science and a Law Degree from UVA so he is automatically better than you will ever be. Yes, he's full of himself and his grading is mostly determined by how much he likes you. Good news is if you brown nose, talk about the law, act like you work hard, and show up on time you'll be fine.

Have had him for three classes and cant wait to have him for more. The only class in my schedule that i actually look forward to and not try to avoid. Definately not an easy teacher, but if you work a lil bit, you can swing a B. The 20+ pagers are a lil rough but he'll definately help ya out with it
