His tests are really tricky. He always try to take off points for grammar mistakes. He fixed all the things that the Writing Center fixed for me. His grammar is really poor but he think he is good at it.

Carr is a very easy professor. His lectures are straightforward and interesting, and he always does very thorough reviews before exams. It's hard to fail his class unless you don't study. The notes are the key--and they're pretty easy to memorize. He is a prety funny guy, too, and makes some pretty good jokes. Overall, his class is easy and fun :)

Dr. Carr feels the need to grade extremely hard. he likes to take off points for spelling mistakes of random Arabic or Hindu words. He also does not feel the need for his students to learn any info he talks about and simply wants students to memorize his worthless powerpoints word for word to write out on his exams. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!!!!!

Fun class and he made the material easy to handle. Optional final if you do well on both midterms and only 2 papers to write for the entire semester. There's only 250 points in the class though so you have to do well on everything to get a passing grade. He also cancelled class a lot!

I'm a senior now, and this was the hands down the easiest class that I have ever taken at Mount. THe material is dense, but he makes it very bearable. I wish I could have had more courses with him. Not to mention, he's really hot for an older dude.
