This professor is very kind and helpful, but the class had very few grades. All based on how well you do on the exams and then he gives a few extra credit points for homework and attendance. Lectures are fairly quick; I heard great things about taking this class online.

Comment:

Emmons tries so hard to make his class interesting. The topics and what we go over using practical applications was always incredibly interesting. I learned so much in this class. I will say that the only homework is to study. The grade is based off of 3 exams across the semester and if you were like me and got C on all exams, then youll worry. :(

Professor Emmons is a great guy. Been teaching this class for a long time and knows what he is talking about. I liked it. The only real downfall is tat your grade is based off of 3 exams and that is it. so you better study really hard. Overall good guy

Had him for 7 Ideas. Easiest class I have taken at KSU. I skipped several classes and still did very well. All the answers to the work book are in the note book. If you google something like "7 ideas exam 1" you will find his practice tests that are the same as the actual exam. Witty guy, easy to listen too, very nice and helpful.

7 Ideas That Shook The Universe is an amazing class. The only book required is the workbook and you use it EVERY class. Class isn't mandatory but it shows in your grades if you go or not. It also shows in how much he is willing to help. If he sees you there everyday he will answer anything. However, if you skip a lot he still is willing to help!!

Agree with what everyone else is saying, basically. Almost TOO easy at times. TIP: Understanding the material is great and all, but you DO need to memorize for the tests, even if he says you don't. That was my problem with the first two exams. Other than that it is an easy A and I highly recommend it.

this class is so hard but emmons is very knowledgeable and wise. he's kinda funny. cares for his students. uses interesting experiments. test are hard, even if you study but you can get by. class was enjoyable but kinda dull somedays. he plays music really loud before class, it's awesome!

One of the best teachers I've had. He keeps things really interesting and you can tell he really loves what he is teaching, which makes you more interesting in showing up. Just about everything he says is in the notes, but it's worth going. He's great, and really nice.

Don't even need to take notes since the book is pretty much verbatim what he says. Also comes with a workbook. Do the workbook. It helps a lot.
