the man knows what he's talking about - don't know why he gets such a bad wrap. sure there is a ton of coursework but this is grad level. he lets you choose among 3 grading metrics. take notes on what he teaches IN CLASS and you should be ok on quizzes/final. what he teaches in class is not covered in the text so pay attention

Less taught the content in the text book but test a lot, You have to study by yourself. Even if you have some opportunities like through research paper presentation to enhance your grade, but it is still difficult. No slides on class, just talk by professor, a little boring. two quiz one final, and they are all more difficult than the homework

He knows his stuff, but he's not up to date. Who teaches a finance class without excel? He's nice, tries to spark interest but he really just dosen't care about teaching required finance, he's prefer to teach more advanced classes where students care more.

Read the book, do all the problems and you will get a B. Don't do the extra work unless you get a C or less on the first two exams. The final is pretty impossible - general questions are easier but the problems are not like the ones he assigned. Questions and problems are from previous chapters.

Difficult exams & final was all but impossible. Must read the chapters to have any shot of doing well. Final exam is unpredictable and a waste of time. Grades fairly in the end, but will have you wanting to strangle him at times. Nice guy with a good sense of humor, but not good at teaching the material to the class. You teach yourself pretty much.

Ok, the truth about this guy is that you will take his exams and not know how to do it especially the final. But he grades somewhat easily, very hard to get an A but not hard to get a B. Dont bother going to NYC to avoid him not worth it. Dont do the extra assignments unless you get C's on the first few exams. Final includes past chapters.

He is not as good as they said. It is hard for me b/c my bachelor was not finance. I didn't do well b/c I just learn finance for two year. he assumed you know everything. So you have to do the work without sufficient knowledge. If you have good finance, you can take him. otherwise, you will get poor grade.

I would recommended to you if you like finance. You need to work hard to get a decent grade. I did not feel I learned from my mistakes in the cases, but I studied a lot. Not bad, compared to the other professors.

Very fair prof, but a very difficult class, you will have to rely on previous coursework, as he expects you to know all the material beforehand and this course forces you to apply the knowledge. Each case can take up to 15 hours to do, depending on how fast you work, how well you can remember the material, and how well you want to do.

This is a Financial case-study class and you have to do four cases and one presentation or three cases and an original case submission. The class is interesting and the professor gives lots of examples and detailed analysis. The grade is based on case-studies and is a bit tough, but will recommend it to others.
