Definitely the best class on your schedule. It is enjoyable to go to class to talk about interesting things, as well as get comfortable with the students around you. discussions range from things you do with your family, to how society views sex. likeable personality. He has had cancer twice so he has a good outlook on life

I loved him. I really dislike English lit. a lot, so I was happy to seldom read anything on my own. Every class we'd sit in a circle and talk about our feelings, no joke. Best academic experience I've ever had.

Tom Joyce is by far one of the best professors at Canisius. He really does care about his class and has a real passion for English. He thinks outside the box and the class is basically discussions about how you view the world. He let us go outside when it was nice too. Awesome class. A+ all the way.

AWESOME MAN! He doesn't grade your tests he just writes paragraphs about how your story is awesome...even if you write about yourself instead of the topic. I LOVEEEEE Joyce, he's an interesting professor who takes time outside of class o be with students, hang around the clubs rooms and dining hall, and even goes out to Spot coffee with students to lead discussions about novels of life in general. This man is god, and I am very sad this will be his last honors course.
