Comment:

Dr. Nalli is probably the best professor I have personally ever taken. That being said, he does teach Organic Chemistry which is the hardest class I have ever taken. You will have to get real cozy with your textbook, and lectures are absolutely mandatory if you're looking for an A. There is S2i as well as ILL sessions, so take advantage of those.

If Nalli has a bad score its because someone is upset about their grade. Organic chemistry will be one of the toughest classes you will take. However, Nalli will do anything and everything to help you learn. Lots of office hours, S2i, ILL ( instruct lead learning) the resources are given to you>Iit just depends if you can devote your life to chem.

Great professor!! Yes, ochem is hard, but he always has office hours & encourages you to come to him for help. He also provides an outside of class review session 2-3 times a week! Plus separate s2i classes! He is a great prof and teaches ochem well. Tests are big, but they have the same layout every time so you know what to expect and how to study

Dr Nalli is amazing. His class is 25% lab, and the rest exams and quizzes. Most days, he has a homework assignment and a quiz on the last lecture worth a combined 15%. He has 5 exams, and lowest dropped if you do well on the final. We had 6 lab reports due every other week. His class was a lot of work, but worth it. Definitely take if you can

Nalli is the best professor I have ever had. The class is extremely hard and a ton of work but he really does give you all the tools you need to succeed on his extremely difficult tests. You come out of the course genuinely knowing organic chemistry! Also, he is super cool and so so so nice if you make an effort to get to know him. 100% take him!

Dr. Nalli is probably the best professor I've ever had. Sure his class is hard, but no one will really tell you that Organic Chemistry is easy. That being said, if you put in the work you will definitely have a chance for an A in this class. He is one of the coolest people I've ever met and I would definitely take him again

Dr. Nalli is an amazing professor. Sure, his lectures can seem somewhat unstructured at times, but in the end it will make sense. Organic chemistry is a hard course for many people, and Dr. Nalli has had many years of perfecting his method to teach the material in the best manner. I would take any course he teaches, he is just that great!

As with any organic chemistry class, If you want a good grade, it will take a lot of effort, office visits, and focused class time. Dr. Nalli may seem intimidating and irritable but he really does want to help you. He's very smart but his lecture style is not very structured, so if that doesn't sound like you, you may want a different professor.

Expect to spend a lot of time on lab reports. Tests are difficult. I found it very helpful to read through the book. However, if you have a question on anything, Dr. Nalli is helpful if you go talk to him. He can come across as intimidating, but he really cares and wants you to understand the material. Definitely would take him again!

Labs are usually interesting, and take the full four hours. Expect to put a lot of time into the lab reports as well. Tests are extremely hard. Daily quizzes too, so do not expect to miss a single class period. Does not like being asked questions, and makes you feel inadequate when you ask one.

Nalli is one of the best professors I have ever had. Although he is intimidating at first, if you keep going to office hours he will realize you care and will do his best to explain what you do not understand. I literally spent hours in his office asking him questions and doing practice problems. Yes, you have to study, but he is willing to help.

Dr. Nalli is rude in his office when we would go in and ask a question. He claims that he is not trying to be rude but doesn't change anything about it to make him more approachable. Exams are hard.. Very hard. The overal topic of OChem is very interesting, it's just dr. Nalli made it hard. I love Nalli as a friend and person, but as a prof... nope

Nalli is the man, and I'm proud to be in his class for 351. Studying for each daily quiz and acing them usually leads to great test scores. Definitely expects a lot out of you for lab but the more you work with him in his office about it the better you'll be.

Organic Chemistry is a tough class. But Dr. Nalli teaches it very well and will try hard to get everyone to understand. Might seem a bit unapproachable in his office, but he is very friendly and will do his best to help! He also really teaches how to write good lab reports too. You definitely want him if you need to take this class!

Dr. Nalli was and still is my fav prof from college. He really cared about the class understanding the material. Although Organic Chem is not an easy subject, he made it fun and interesting. I took both semesters of orgo with Nalli: hes easily one of the best professors on Winona State campus. This class is known as a "weeder" class... separating the strong from the weak. However, with Dr. Nalli I learned ochem in and out and wouldn't recommend anyone else. I feel he is a phenomenal teacher and have a huge admiration for him. Great guy

Organic chemistry is a hard class no matter who's teaching it, but I'd recommend Dr. Nalli. His labs are very intense, and he expects a lot out of the lab reports. Go to class and do practice problems out of the book. Tests are difficult but not impossible and he curves. I pulled off a B both semesters, just keep on top of the material.

Organic Chemistry is a hard class in its self, so no matter what teacher its going to be hard. But with professor Nalli things are made as easy as they can. His labs are a little on the extreme part, but inclass is very well balanced.
