I took several classes from Tom back in the 80's when I attended CSUC. Taught me all that I know about Film Noir, and gave me an appreciation for film that I've never lost. I still, occasionally, keep in contact with him. If he's still teaching, do yourself a favor an take one of his classes. Still my favorite teacher from CSUC. Thanks Tom!

I took 2-3 classes from Reck in the late 60's. Have not forgotten the classes or him. GREAT teacher. I just retired from my own teaching career. I like to think that I learned something about teaching from him. I loved teaching and he showed me how.

The best classroom performer ever. Tom Reck is the reason I went to Chico State for grad. school. The department is in shambles. One would think that "younger" blood would energize the dept. but the old man rocked them all. He truely loved what he did and is an inspiration to me in my teaching career. I am fortunate to call him a friend.

This guy is the best. He loves movies, and his classes are the best. I took 3 of his classes and got an A in each one. He is funny, down to earth, and loves his job. One of the best teachers at Chico State. Speak up in class, and get to know him. He is one of the few really cool and down to earth teachers.
