Dr. Madrigal's problem as a professor is that he's been doing this too long. I've taken several classes from him, and he repeats the same lectures in every class. It really bothers me that he doesn't seem to prepare for class or bring in any new material. He's very pro-Cuban/anti-Castro, which is fine, but his politics came out in class too much.

I had him for conversation first. He's really enthusiastic, and he made class intersting. I also went to Salamanca in '04 for the study abroad thing. He's been very helpful when it comes to things like getting into classes and registering for Grad school.

Madrigal is awesome! He is a great teacher and you'll learn a lot of stuff that you will never be able to find in a book. He was more concerned with teaching you concepts and not about grading. Spain '03 was awesome! Mad Dog Madrigal = enough said.

He is a wonderful teacher who truly cares about his students. He uses a variety of teaching techniques in order to make the class interesting and allow the student to retain the information. The emphasis is on learning, not test-taking.
