The class is basically him explaining what the book says in more detail (which is helpful, as it's sometimes confusing). He's a nice guy, but tends to assume that everyone wants to work with databases, when really most of us are taking it because it's required for the major. Also, he uses the word "interesting" to mean "phenomenally boring."
