I took on-line 2301 and 2302 with Professor Toombs. He is super-organized, clear and concise. I never had to email or call him because he made everything so clear. You MUST read the book because the test questions can be tricky. He throws a curve on the tests, though and the answer board questions are easy...just don't wait 'til the last minute!

I recommend his on-line course. His directions are very clear. Keep up with your reading for the tests, because the questions can be tricky. Answer board questions are easy...you just get the info straight from the book. Extra credit is available and is easy to get. I got an A and will be taking him for 2302.

Just finished his fast-track online class and got an A+. He is very clear on expectations as compared to other online courses. Follow his directions carefully and put an honest effort into the Answer Board questions and you will do good. I used the MyPoliSciLab for better grades. It's not for lazy students. Read the book. Just Read the TEXTBOOK! I took Pols 2301 Distance Learning and found it very interesting and easy. Professor Toombs is very clear about what he expects from you in his class, plus he provides extra credit. I made B's in all my test, but made the HUGE MISTAKE of not completing ALL the Answer Boards and Discussion Boards and ended up with a C.

Great Professor. I took him for Govt I and II online. He lets you know exactly what he expects from you on day 1. Very concise syllabus. No need to guess. Do the answer board, and required reading, and you will do fine. He even offers extra credit.

Great class to take online. His directions are crystal clear, he sends out constant e-mail reminders, and the discussions get pretty intense! It's alot of work, but I have learned alot. I would highly recommend him!

I took both sections of GOVT from Professor Toombs. Very good class to take if you are taking a full load. To make a good grade, I suggest taking the online review prior to taking the test. I did not have to read the book. If I did, I probably would have made an A. I wish I would have taken a face-to-face so I could have learned something.

Took his govt 2302 online course and I'd have to say that he is a very fair and considerate professor. His syllabus is very clear and he answers back to e-mails in a reasonable time manner. His class wasn't real easy, but it wasn't hard either. Gives extra credit too!!
