Loved this class and the prof! Tov is amazing, he is so caring, he just wants everyone to succeed . He is always available to help outside of class hours and has great practice exams to help you study. I will defiantly be taking all of my finance classes with him!

One of my favourite profs at LU, very passionate about finance and really cares about his student's success. Keeps you engaged in every class and provides great feedback. Whether you're a business student or not, the info you learn in his classes are relevant to anyone. Definitely recommend.

Tov is a wonderful professor and very knowable about finance and how it relates to business in the real wold. His classes are well organized, with the lectures, homework, and exams very related to each other. I would highly recommend taking a class with Tov, he is very friendly and easy to find if you have a question or concern.

Reads slides word-for-word, has no clue what he's talking about. Was rude to me several times when asking him questions. Paid for an english course, got a french teacher who has problems answering questions well. If attending for participation marks and teaching yourself with the textbook sounds like fun, this class is for you.

5026 is Corporate Finance at the MBA level. Tov is an excellent professor with thorough knowledge of the subject matter. His presentation of the material was clear and his exams were fair. I recommend taking this course with this professor.

Comment:

Never take his portfolio class. Exams don't match the course work at all and focus on ridiculous variable isolation and other mathematical processes that he never teaches (the textbook has no relevant examples either). Horrible teacher ruining an awesome class.

You could see his passion for the subject through his eagerness to get the everyone in the class excited about the subject.Although there were some tough projects, he is always willing to help and steer you in the right direction. Through the projects we were able to learn more than from simply doing text book exercises.

Awesome Professor, great class. Very clear, intelligent & helpful. Dr Assogbavi is by far the best professor I have ever taken. He covers a lot in his lectures, so it's important to take notes. Good class overall. Lots to learn and very helpful professor especially when you go to him personally to ask for clarification. He is very straight to the point and down to earth.Better read your textbook ahead of class. It makes understanding so much easier because the lectures are from power point slides and you may have to participate.

Tov's understanding of finance and his interest in the subject is very obvious. While the lectures are frequently from the slides, Tov is willing to answer any questions a student may have understanding the material. Great in class discussions. However, you have to be able to learn from your book because the lectures are USELESS!! I took his class in french, but the book is in english as well as the slides he uses which he is seeing for the first time when he is teaching and merelly reads them and then translates them to french.Great discussions,terrible lectr
