Dr. Weldon was amazing! She took the whole time for lecture but you actually learned and were engaged the entire time. We didn't have many test and two the the test including the final were essays. Extremely knowledgeable and allows for student ideas to be expressed

Real sweet professor. Very clear and extremely knowledgeable of her subject area. Classes were mostly discussion based and she demonstrated a clear respect for the ideas of her students. As long as you do the readings, which are not excessive, you should do fine. There were a few tests and a small project that I recall.

Excellent Linguistics teacher. Classes were seldom boring, and group participation was fun. Go to class and participate, it's not that bad. Two tests (final was an essay), three journals. Not a big workload at all. Take the class. Not an easy A, but definitely an easy B.

She really nice, always there to help when needed, this was my first Linguistics class it was very interesting. She made sure that everything is understood. Make sure you take notes on what she says. 3 test , 1 article critique and 2 journal assignments.

Fabulous professor. She knows her stuff and is crystal clear about explaining everything. The work load is light. Just go to class and pay attention and write down everything she puts on the board and you're good. I didn't even know what linguistics was before this class and now I'm in love with it and want to minor in it. Very nice with good humor

Extremely helpful and interesting. Fantastic at giving guidance once a destination is selected. Probably better for higher level students than intro-level students.

assigns research project. very helpful assignment, but very unhelpful prof. I know she doesn't want to do the project for you or anything, but for those who'd like some ideas on where to start, a little help would be in order.
