Comment:

The one thing I love about Professor Mulligan is that she's always around for her students. Any time I needed help I could always find her outside of class. She's a very tough grader when it came to the essays, so don't to do anything last minute.

Comment:

Dr. Mulligan gives you notes, but she also references stuff from the books, but go by your notes and you'll be fine. I never read a single line in any of the readings and I got straight As. But I also take notes like a freaking tape recorder.

Comment:

Dr. Mulligan is a brilliant professor: this also means she expects excellence from her students. She is a political science professor technically, but an intl law, politics and relations professor first and foremost. I loved her class, but would never recommend it to anyone without a strong interest and substantial knowledge of intl politics.

She is very helpful in any questions you may have. She gives a midterm, final, and two papers, one short about 5-7 pgs and the research paper towards the end of the semester is about 10-12 or even more. On the syllabus she does give many readings that are long for your benefit. very knowledgeable Woman and you will learn a lot. Take her classes.

Dr. Mulligan is the absolute sweetest lady, unfortunately she is a very hard grader. If you mess up on anything it is hard to recover from. She is especially hard on grading essays so beware. Her teaching style is also hard, with mostly fast lecturing and barely any power points. I don't recommend her if you aren't a poly sci major.

Hard teacher, her tests are not easy. If you mess up on the mid term you do not have many chances to make up for that. You have to study straight from the books. In class you just take notes and people just play with there phones because she does not make the class interesting. If you are not majoring in poli sci I would not suggest her class.

One of Iona's best professors. She is very nice and very helpful. If you have a situation with your papers you can talk to her and she will help you. My advisor was barely any help at all in my first semester and she helped me alot during my first semester. A lot of reading to do and a bunch of papers but she is a must take professor.

Dr. Mulligan is the best. Iona is really lucky to have her. She only gave a midterm and a final but they are hard. She gives notes everyday and quite a few papers. But everyone should earn at least a B. Its college, you have to do work!!! But she is really good. If you are going to take into to politics, take it with her.

hard class. she didnt really explain anything, every class felt like it was a review or something we were supposed to have learned before. she really expects you to know everything. but she is really nice. willing to help. hard grader though.
