Honestly, I think that SIUE insults itself and it's integrity by keeping this guy on the staff. I really don't get why he's still working there. Every single time there is a class evaluation, he gets reamed yet there he is, every single day, collecting a paycheck. There definitely more going on here that we don't know.

Dr. Wu seemed to have no idea how to teach this class, or as I hear, any class. There were errors on multiple quizzes and exams that he could not even figure out. I suggest taking any class with him with another instructor. Don't waste your time! How does a Computer Science professor not even know how to use a computer?!

Tenure is slowing down SIUE. This class teaches stuff learned in CS 140 and 240, and it really should cover something different. Wu uses Scheme and Ada and a lot, which are not used anywhere today. I could relate to Wu more than other students. The classwork is generally easy - It's figuring out what he's asking for on assignments that is hard.

I can't understand him and the tests were very hard so I dropped his class. Had him for my advisor for a while and he offered no help at all. I don't think he knows much about computers or the United States. I changed my major and he is one reason why.

I'd've had more luck learning stuff from my dog, and he chases his tail and chews on his own butt. The best advice I got from him was something about breeding rabbits instead of chickens... nothing worth the oxygen used to say it. And I never learned a thing from him. I hate the concept of tenure... Why can't they let Dr. White start tenure review?

I think professors who cannot program should not be allowed to teach programming. I took a 200 and a 500 level class with Dr. Wu, and he taught the exact same thing in both classes. Also, he did not teach any programming, although both were programming classes. He tried to teach math, and failed miserably at it. I think he should be fired.

Probably the worst CS professor. His accent is hard to understand, and his lectures are not very good. It's not hard to get a good grade though. When he made mistakes on tests, he didn't understand the material well enough to follow my proofs that he was wrong.
