Dr. Kaktins is retiring in April 2008. So long, Dr. K.; we will miss you here in the geology dept. at UPJ. An excellent geology professor, a geologist in the true sense of the word. Hopefully there will still be a geology dept. here at UPJ in the future. You have inspired many students over the years, a true tribute to your teaching excellence.

Sure this class wasn't the most thrilling, but Dr. Kaktins is hilarious and really tries to make it interesting to anyone who isn't a geology major. If you're looking for an easy gen ed with minimal work required, take Environmental Geology.

Katkins is the greatest prof at UPJ. Very funny and has an easy going attitude toward teaching. Take him for any class and you will be guaranteed a great grade, with as much help as you need.
