For his exams, the short answers come from the tutorial questions. Multiple choice can be tricky. He explains things well if you ask him to explain it but I find during lecture he just reads whats on the slides. He's also really funny :)

Karuna is awesome! Hilarious and I loved his analogies. He's very smart and extremely helpful. Tests are very fair and his slides & tutorials are great. Loved his class and he is very fair. Do the tutorials and understand the material and it's easy to do well in this class.

Dr. Karuna is awesome. He's hilarious, if you like cheesy profs who use lots of metaphors. Very helpful by email and by visiting him in his office. His direction on papers are practically foolproof.

He used too many metaphors. His tutorials were helpful for the tests on Monday when he gives you answers. The class was ridiculous because of people taking over and asking too many stupid questions just to stall him. If you ask for help, he just shrugs you off. He even blew off an exam for someone when they had to rewrite.

I liked bio before I took his class but at the end of the year I was so happy to get out of there. Sometimes its hard to know if hes talking english. He makes jokes throughout the calss tho. only thing that really keeps you awake.

he's alright but hard to make out.i probably understood 20 words he said all year. i think he just talks too fast and his accent really threw me off.but if you read the book and do well on your tutorials you should do fine...the markers are rotten but when he does his own marking its not so bad.

Even if you can understand what he's saying (i'm not saying that to be mean, it's just really hard to make him out sometimes), going to class is kind of pointless. Reads right off the powerpoints and tells useless stories. If you read the text and do the tutorials, you'll definitley do fine.
