Comment:

Mrs Russell is definitely one of a kind. Shes going to come off as a sarcastic mean woman and it might scare you away. She sets her rules and you must follow. Stay on her good side and dont use IM talk! Pretty fair, sometimes harsh with grading but lets you redo essays. Participate and stay on top of your work. I would not recommend for the lazy.

I think personal it's all a show, because in the end she truly cares about her students passing the class. She has a bit of a weird personality but funny. She serious about students doing her work, but found she is flexible to a point and does care

Omg, she is the worst. She complains and nothing satisfies her. I highly recommend not taking her because she will annoy you to death. She doesn't explain well and can't teach for nothing. You will be miserable throughout your whole semester. Trust me, and take my advice.

The sarcasm and the witchiness gets old fast. I'm not there to get some elitist sense from the teacher. She's very clear and understands literature, but when it comes to your paper she could care less about the content and was far too harsh when it came to grammatical errors. I could understand if one wrote gibberish, but this was not the case.
