She's not a great professor, very confusing. She's nice and tries to help, but you really don't end up learning much. That said, if you go to class and do the hw, you can get an A or a B pretty easily. I skipped a LOT of class and didn't do much of the hw (because it was SO boring) and still passed. She tells you whats on the test, & its open book.

Where to begin? Valerie Santos is the greatest woman on the USD campus hands down. SHE IS A DOLL! She's a vegan that loves apples. She has a spectacular style and even better accesories (her rolly back pack.. and when it gets cold out she wheres after ski boots.. shes so fly). Take this class and embrace it! I did and I loved every minute of it.

I really don't see why she has bad ratings. If you do the work, show up to class, and actually follow along in lecture (hello, we're in college now, time for work) then you will do fine. She practices what she preaches and if you have good reasons for needing extra time, or missing class, she'll help you

she is NOT that bad at all. All you have to do is show up to class and do the 10-15 min hw and you get tons of extra points. The kid behind me did all his hw in class since it wasnt due until the end. She comes off bitter and rude but just pay somewhat attention and you will do fine. Has 2 midterms and a final...you get to bring a cheat sheet.

She is the worst teacher I have ever had. She is not qualified to be teaching at this school, and is the biggest b*tch I have ever met. Has no knowledge of how to actually teach, does not answer questions, and has the most ridiculous grading policy ever. I would rather die that have to sit through another class of hers. She's like a chocolate truffle, hard on the outside but a total softy on the inside. Her lectures are very clear and organized. This is not a fun topic to learn about but she makes it easy. This was one of the easiest A's I've ever gotten.

THis is the easiest class. As long as u come to class and take her notes down, you'll get an A. She's very clear on what she expects from you, and always willing to help out. I recommend this teacher for Intro to Logic.
