Ridiculously easy class if you put in the work. ALWAYS go to office hours; he will look over your answers to the study guides that HE provided to begin with. No reason not to go! Really friendly, and really intelligent too. His class lectures were really quite interesting and readings were thought-provoking (although we had a lot).

Very fun professor, likes tv shows and sports. Class is at 8 am but he offers a bonus for only missing 3 or less classes. Very easy, gives out a study guide and tests are all memorization

FAVORITE CLASS AT VANDY! Vaughn always made class interesting with videos and discussions, which is difficult for an 8 AM. The tests are easy if you follow his outline, and he gives TONS of chances for extra credit. This class convinced me to become a poli sci major, and he is also pretty hot, always dressed sharply in a suit!

Vaughn is a great Professor! Class discussions are great, and the extra reading he assigns is though provoking and informative. You do have to spend a good amount of time studying for the tests, but they're very doable.

This class was pretty interesting. It is not mandatory to go to class but I suggest at least going to class on days when notes are going to be taken. Notes are a huge part of the tests so its important.This class isn't completely a breeze you must do the work and no your stuff pretty well. Dont do poorly on the 1st test, its hard to come back from

Professor May is an awesome teacher. In the beginning of the year he gives this speech that while his class intro, it should be taken serious. If you get a bad grade (theres 4 - 25% grades)it is possible to bounce back. Coming back to an A from an F is unlikely, but B- to B + is very possible. He helps you all the way through the recovery. g8 teach

He's really fair and good at moderating discussions. There is a lot of reading, multiple (sometimes lengthy) articles per week. Three tests and one paper, all equally weighted. He is VERY helpful in office hours. He's a fair grader but you will still have to work pretty hard to get an A. Overall he's a very cool guy and a great intro class to take.

LOVE him, LOVE the class! The class is early, but he makes it worth your time. Lots of reading, but keep up with that and your class notes, take advantage of office hours, do the extra credit, and you can come out with a stellar grade in his class. He's fun to get to know as a person, too--very engaging.

Fabulous professor! He such a wonderful professor and his class is very nicely structured. Three exams and one paper - all worth the same. There is A LOT of reading, but attendance is not mandatory. It kind of sucks because its at 8am, but he really tried to keep the discussion engaging. GO TO OFFICE HOURS - it WILL help you on the exams!!
