Comment:

Not a good professor. She does not accept late work and does not give you your grades in a timely fashion. My classmate has sent her 3 emails since in regards to her grades and has gotten no response (it's now finals week). Be ready to write 1,000+ words a week. She does not actually teach anything and expects WAY too much of students.

I did not enjoy this class at all and I love english. I feel as if I did not learn anything new about researching and nothing that we have done has helped me. Everyone in the class is also clueless about what is going on. She assigns many things at once and that are very time consuming and then not even collect it.

Watson is an intelligent and respected woman BUT I would never recommend this class to anyone taking more then the average amount of classes. I am a double major and this class is TOO MUCH. There is so much work to do, on top of a 15 pg research paper we also have to read a book and present for both of these assignments and exams are still given.

she is one of the greatest teacher I have ever met. she is knowledgable and thoughtful and will help you improve your critical thinking. she will help you with finding sources if you needed. Her chosen texts are deep and meaningful. there is one thing i did not like about her and I hope she can avoid it. She cancels the class late

To date, Dr Watson has been the driving force in my studies. I don't think I would want to continue my Phd if it was not for her. I would argue that she is the best professor in the english department because because of all the hats she wears. IUP is lucky to have her.

She was one of the best professors I've ever had. Discussing race is never easy, and it must be especially difficult when most of your students don't look like you. But, she discussed race in a fair, thoughtful, and academically rigorous way. And although she guided discussions, I never felt as though she allowed any one opinion to dominate.

I think she isn't that bad. She is pretty jolly, provides help as needed and so far i can remember she just missed 2 classes because she was sick. i must admit that getting good score was tough in this class but she gave a lot of extra credit opportunities. Overall i would give her 4.7 outa 5.

This teacher was horrific. Most of the time she didn't show up, she was very lazy rude and she often disregards her office time. Her class was pathetic!!! One of the worst teachers I ever had in college history. She tries to overwork you while not teaching a thing NEVER TAKE HER!I should've dropped class or looked at rate my ptof. first...FROWN

This class was rediculously hard. Your garde is completely bassed off of her opinion of your interpretation of whatever literature you're reading. So, basically if your interpretation doesn't match hers exactly you won't do well. She clearly favors certain students. Often laughs at students and gives unhelpful comments and useless insight.

Dr. Watson is the worst teacher I've ever had. She is unfair, rude, belittling and lazy. She is a pedantic grader and has no respect for any point of view that isn't her own. She shows obvious favoritism towards certain students. She doesn't teach at all, ever. The whole class is comprised of aimless group work. She laughs at students' comments.

I really liked her as a prof. Only had 2 papers. I think 4pgs. Grades very easy! Usually a journal a week (easy points) I really reccomend her! My hs english teacher told my class we were gonna fail english in college.. i ended up gettin an A...Definately would take again!!

Dr. Watson's classes are very informative and interesting. She handles difficult subjects excellently. Her teaching methods are fair and she balances necessary lecture with plenty of time for class discussions. She always finds time for her students. She's passionate about what she teaches and takes the job of being a good teacher seriously.

This class is a little on the tough side, so you have to stay on the ball. Look very closely at all of the homework assignmnts and ask her if you have a question. Make sure you are very inoffensive with your argument essays and try to take the same or similar side with her as possible.

Sounded good at first, then work came...piles. By far the most work i've had to do out of all of my four other classes combined. Slow to return work. Just overall not what i payed for. To her benefit however, she is very well spoken and easy to understand, she just doesn't put too much effort forward. 10 cancellations thus far but still work.

She does not like males. She favors people in her race and is predujiced against others. She never returns assignments, she's careless and shows just how lazy she is by her comments on papers that she does bother to return. Someone needs to inform her that we PAY for this class and it is her responsibility to WORK as a TEACHER not a hater. Unfair.
