Prof Mayhan has mixed reviews here and I believe it's because she doesn't take any guff. She doesn't have a lot of patience for those who want her to hold their hands, but it's college folks. She knows her stuff and she is a neat lady. I found her extremely helpful, but I was not one of the problem children. :-)

I took this class online. If you read the chapters and pay close attention to the detail of the art pieces in the book, you should do okay. She grades very easy on the final, and reports. Be prepared to visit the Dallas Museum of Art for the final.

The whole class is based off of webct something i didn't know about, if you are ok with that then you will be fine. A LOT of papers though, and group projects! Not an easy class!!

Professor Mayhan was not very organized nor did she grade assignments in a very good time. Unless they've been corrected by now, alot of the information in her web course is out of date and incorrect. Many corrections had to be made. Made a B but worked my butt off for it.
