Vicky is very helpful! I loved having her for UCWR. Go to her office hours for help on your papers and you are guaranteed a better grade. She is very helpful and lets you leave class early most of the time. Gives you extra points for being in class last day before break. Overall, great teacher!

Professor Anderson has a very dry sense of humor. She takes her subject of poetry very seriously, and she knows quite a lot about it. As far as grading goes, I really don't know how she determines grades, but I think the more effort you make and if you improve over the course of the class, you will get a fair grade.

I think she comes off intimidating however her class is not that hard. I think she grades fairly easily however, it is very hard to get an A. I think you have to write something at a very high level in order to get an A. Overall great teacher. I would recommend her.

VERY VERY easy prof. I went half the time, did half the work and did very well on the last project that is worth 80% of the grade and got a B+. Easy class that fills a writing intensive. She overtly plays favorites in class which can be amuzing.

If you are looking for an easy A for the required UCWR 110 writing class, look for another professor. I got A's on all my papers in highschool, but have yet to receive an A on a paper from her. She is extremely unclear on what exactly she wants in a typical paper. The paper topics are interesting, but not worth it. Find another professor!

writing of poetry. Great class, she is really frickin awesome. Try to get her to tell you some stories about famous poets she knows like Addonizio. The class is pretty easy overall, but hard for a poetry class. if you like poetry, take it, otherwise dont, you wont liek it at all.
